Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski took a massive hit in the final minutes of the second quarter that forced him to leave the AFC championship game.
Gronkowski took a hit in the helmet area from Jacksonville Jaguars safety Barry Church while trying to catch a pass from Tom Brady.
A flag was thrown on the play for unnecessary roughness. The Patriots ended the drive with a rushing touchdown from James White.
Gronkowski looked shaken up as he walked off the field. He was escorted by medical staff to the locker room.
The Patriots said Gronkowski suffered a head injury and is questionable to return.
